Terms of service

Plain terms for a narrow service: we read public blockchain data and produce a sourced schedule. You and your client stay in control of every asset.

01The service

GhostYield Estate prepares reports listing cryptoasset holdings found at public blockchain addresses you supply, with balances read at or near a date you specify (usually the date of death) and values in GBP and USD taken from named third-party price sources. The service is offered to professionals, including solicitors, executors’ advisers and accountants, acting for an estate.

02Read-only, no custody

The service is strictly read-only. We never request, receive or hold private keys, seed phrases or passwords, never move, sign for or take custody of any asset, and cannot recover access to a wallet. Nothing on this site asks you for those details; treat any request for them claiming to be from us as fraudulent.

04Your responsibilities

You confirm you are authorised to request a report on the addresses supplied, that the addresses and date are accurate to the best of your knowledge, and that you will use the report only for administering the relevant estate or advising on it.

05Accuracy and limitations

We source every line and state the limitations in each report. Blockchain and price data come from third parties and may be incomplete, delayed or wrong; assets at addresses not supplied to us, held on exchanges, or of types we do not cover will not appear. Where we cannot source a price, the item is marked UNKNOWN and excluded from totals rather than estimated.

06Fees

Pilot reports are free for one matter. Other reports are charged at the prices shown on the site at the time you order, or as agreed in writing. Prices exclude applicable taxes.

07Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability for any report is limited to the fee paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for penalties, interest or tax arising from a filing you make.

08Confidentiality and data

We keep matter information confidential and handle personal data as described in our privacy notice.

09Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, unless mandatory local law where you are established says otherwise.
